I liked the fact that all the shops were clustered according to type of products! makes it soo much easier to locate stuff!

I am not going there until April or May when its really hot to be outdoors. Otherwise Dubai in this time of the year is 100% outdoor place. I just love it.
I went there yesterday with the family. Although the aquarium was quite impressive and the ice rink is also a nice thing, I didn't really like the mall overall. First of all, it's just too big. We didn't even see half of it, but my legs were hurting from all the walking around. The parking area is totally chaotic. Whoever planned that was apparently drunk.
Also I didn't like the fact that their facilities are not up to the mark. Half of the bathrooms are still closed and they haven't covered the directional signs to those closed bathrooms. So you end up trying several different places until you find one that is up and running. And the ones that are open are all dirty and not cleaned up properly. There are also directional signs to other places in the mall that are not open yet. For example the "Lake Fountain". We walked a long way following the signs, just to find out that this "Lake" is still under construction.
I don't think I will visit Dubai Mall again anytime soon.

Dubai mall is a mess, a big too big for your average shopping pleasure. Perhaps it caters to the future, I'm talking cyborgs coz my feet were swollen after a not-so-pleasurable trip to the mall. But then, its just me!
