Not sure which forum this goes to.. but does anyone know of a good website for Jobs in Dubai?

Somone must’ve asked this before but I can’t find any info on this..

regarding jobindubai.com?

I think its Canada based web site/company, couple of years back I and couple of my friends decided to move to dubai, in a process we came accross this site, this site ask for 75$ fee in advance to process your CV and help you find a job/help you prepare for inteview etc./provide you info regarding job opening and you have to pay them half the amount of your first salary in case you find job through them.
( if i remember correctly, as I did not visite the site in a long time).

Before payment it was all ok, they will reply in time. Once we paid them that was it. I did not hear from them in months, once or twice I wrote them email out of curiosity just to know if they are for real no response and then I gave up on them.

None of us (those who paid them) ever heard from them again.

I don't know this for sure but from my general experience with pakistanies, I can safely assume that jobsindubai.com is run by pakistanies. I may be wrong as I am talking from my own personal experience.

hmmm... o.k. - I just checked and yes, the customer service number seems to be a Canadian one and the site does talk about a full refund of fees for anyone who doesn't find employment through them within 6 months of registration. On the outset, this seems like a very straight forward guarantee but like you said, there may be some hurdles. In any case, thank you for alerting us.

Just today I was talking to my brother about www.jobsindubai.com and he told me the website is a scam. According to him when he tried searching for Electrical Engineering jobs, the site showed literally hundreds of jobs each with a detailed description and salary figure. He says even Monster won’t show that many jobs.

^ That site is a scam. I know of several who have lost their money using it. There is no such thing as a refund.
