Can one dua that a specific person falls in love with them ? Or really values them and wants to spend their life with them ?

illicit love between two adults of opposite gender is NOT permissible in Islam then how there can be a du’aa for that? isn’t that against the teachings of Islam?
du’aa for love between spouses may be there which is well within the Islamic teachings.

I don’t think there is a specific dua to make people ‘fall in love’ with you and respect you.

I think in this scenario the person should make dua to become a better person -spiritually, physically, emotionally, intellectually and also work hard for it, so the right person falls in love with them. And when the time is right, Allah will make it easy.

Make dua that you have the motivation to be fit, go to the gym, eat well, groom, dress well, get employ-ability skills, get life skills, read lots so that you are interesting and funny, be positive and stop relying on supernatural and IA..everyone will respect and love you.

what i meant was say your “arranged” to get married somewhere for that person to love you.
what if you marry someone and they never end up really loving you. thats what i dont want.

When I married my wife she knew I was in love with another woman, I had just separated from a 7 yr common law relationship with a girl I loved. She was so confident in herself she told me that she will make me fall in love with her and I will never look back and by god she did. Thru your actions, behavior, and attitude you can make him fall in love with you. I believe in actions and people taking charge of their destiny.

You can recite “Ya wadudo” a hundred times and blow it on the food and present it to the intended person. It is meant for married couples but unmarried can try it too. It brings two hearts closer and increase love and compassion between them.

Patient is must when you make dua. I mean you should have some patient for certain desired and hope for better from Almighty Allah.
With my limited knowledge, I haven’t came across any specific dua which make a person fall in love with someone. However, as per hadith narrated by Hazrat Anas that Prophet Muhammad 
said: “When anyone of you appeal to Allah for something, he/she should ask with determination and should not say, ‘O Allah, if You wish, give me’, for nobody can force Allah to do something against His Will”.
Regardless to whatever dua you make, make it with determination as stated in above hadith. Be patient and do not lose hope.
