Dua Hajat/ Namaz Hajat

I have heard that this particular prayer/dua is really good to pray if you are in want of a specific thing? I tried doing some research (albeit very light), and heard some good and not so good things about it.

any thoughts?

Re: Dua Hajat/ Namaz Hajat

from experience, i say it works for me alhamdulillah
not all duas are accepted straight away, thats why we have a test of sabr

its based on ur yaqeen aswel

Re: Dua Hajat/ Namaz Hajat

what have u heard not so good about it?

Re: Dua Hajat/ Namaz Hajat

all the reasons i found before for why it wasnt the best thing to do seem not to intelligent now lol

there was just stuff on google saying how the pratice of performing salat hajat came from a weak hadith, and there was something about how it wasnt good because you ask for something specific ? now that i think about it, this seems weird, -- because Allah wants you to ask Him for stuff - so the argument of whom ever doesnt really make sense

n e way im glad it worked for you :) iA im going to try it soon

Re: Dua Hajat/ Namaz Hajat

when u pray salaat al hajat, u r asking Allah directly,
and i hope and pray that ur hajaj comes true.. ameen

Re: Dua Hajat/ Namaz Hajat

i just have a question, when you want to pray for better education both islam nd regular studies. is there any special dua/prayer you can say? for example if you would like to achieve something, have good grades, get good results etc.

Re: Dua Hajat/ Namaz Hajat

just wanted to clarify..there is only one namaz/dua hajat, right?

Re: Dua Hajat/ Namaz Hajat

If you are really in a problem or want to ask Allah and Huzoor Pak SAW for something or in any dilemma the best hajaat is to sit facing Kaaba at tauhajad time and recite Durood-E-Muqadus 7 times and then do sijda and pray to Allah and his Huzoor SAW for whatever it is that you desire. I used to do this almost 6 nights out of a week, now I havent been doing it so much. I m gonna start soon again InshAllah. Most of the times I dont even want anything in particular but the feeling after reciting Durood-E-Muqadus is just so nice that I wanna start again.
