I Got this friend, whus past has been really bad but now he Mash’Allah wana walk on the straight path of life.
Been 2 years since he’s stopped all his bad habbits but he goes its affected his health and no1 understands, all his past seems to get in the way.
His left all his bad mates and all but every day feels like his hearts gna stop beating he goes he wants to live like others, his realised his mistakes, he wants to become something but yet something stops him.
He sometimes thinks his a bad person because he once use to be bad, he sometiimes sounds confused and lost and then he goes its the worlds thats bad. He goes each time i walk out of something y does it come n stand infront of me again.
Is their any strong dua or anything that will help him & his health get beter?
One question, is he offering prayers 5 times a day regularly?I hope he must have done 'Tauba' for all his sins and bad time in the the past, but I believe if a person makes commitment to himself no-one can stop him doing that. My poor advise for your friend is that start offering prayers regularly, if he is doing it, then it really good. Besides that, he should also start reading Quran Pak and trust me, he will definately feel relax ! Inshallah !
In Book ‘Invocations’ of Sahih Bukhari Hadith No. 335
Narrated Shaddad bin 'Aus: The Prophet said, “The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is: 'Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta. Khalaqtani wa ana 'abduka, wa ana 'ala 'ahdika wa Wa’dika mastata’tu abu’u Laka bi ni ‘matika wa abu’u Laka bidhanbi; faghfirli fa’innahu la yaghfiru-dh-dhunuba ill a ant a. A’uidhu bika min sharri ma sana’tu.’ If somebody recites this invocation during the night, and if he should die then, he will go to Paradise (or he will be from the people of Paradise). And if he recites it in the morning, and if he should die on the same day, he will have the same fate.”
There is another Dua from the verses of Surah Al Anbiya:
And the man of the fish, when he went off in anger and thought that We would not decree [anything] upon him. And he called out within the darknesses, “There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.” Dua is “La ila ha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minazzalimeen”.
