Dry shampoo

Anyone use it? any recommendations? do many brands even make them???

I started using tresseme and I like it…the only thing I don’t like is that it leaves a white/grey sheen, even when I massage it into the hair, it still leaves a dull look. I dont’ mind dialing down the slippery shiny oilyness but not to the other extreme either.

Any recs?

Re: Dry shampoo

I have the one by Tresseme. But I hardly use it b/c it gives my hair a "stiff" feeling. I don't spray a lot of it so haven't had an issue with the sheen. I tilt my hair upside down, and spray a bit randomly all over. Then I let it "sit" for like 5 minutes....then gently brush my hair.

Re: Dry shampoo

I started a similar thread a while ago, and most people seemed to recommend Batiste. I think it's available at Sally Beauty Supply stores.

Re: Dry shampoo

Yeah, Batisse or Charles Worthington.

Re: Dry shampoo

I have the John Frieda one and it's the best! it comes in a skinny light blue bottle that can be found anywhere...it doesn' give that stiff or gross feeling when you spray it in...

Re: Dry shampoo

Which one is clear? I hate the white film they leave!

Re: Dry shampoo

^I think thats because dry shampoo is made from talc, some people even use normal talc to absorb all the oils..
