DANDRUFF TREATMENT
Pour apple cider vinegar on the scalp, massage, let dry for a few minutes then wash as normal. Repeat this process every day until dandruff disappears (usually within a week).

'Head & Shoulders' anti-dandruff shampoo does the trick also, but you have to continue using it on a regular basis. It's not an overnight cure!

Vinegar stops the itch, usually women use vinegar to control thrush, I doubt it'll help with the dryness.
Discontinue shampoo use and buy a scalp cleanser instead. I know nutrogena has one although I dont like it.
Scalp cleansers are based on Tar, Polytar and Fongitar are good names.

mystery man-- i tried it and it sux..din't work for me...i use VO5 as a shampoo it's great but in between i had tried REDKEN suggested by the salon lady which din't work either and worsened the problem so imback toVO5
Legally-- hmm yea or i was thinking of going to the doc cuz my hair's been thinning and with each trip to the shower it costs me half of my hair. but yea i did try egg and yogurt (i had read sumwhea not for dandruff though) but it sort of helped and it's a lil bettah now Alhamdolilah but ill surely try to look for the neutrogena stuff

stay away from anti dandruff, they'll work but you'll need to keep changing them to maintain their effectiveness.
good old desi thail works the best :D

Head and Shoulders is such a crap product. Its almost like some sort of a sealant (sp?) that compresses the dandruff under a waxy membrane. If you scratch away at your scalp, you'll see that there is dandruff trapped under there. Not to mention that it pulls all the moisture right out of your hair.
Just drink more water. For me, it was because I used to drink like no water. My scalp is way better now just because of good ol' H20

skhan i think i've been with this whole desi thayl thing since iwas born..ammi mixes up all these tayls n always put on once a week...so no it doesn't work n im losin tons of hair n all
