You can make stuffed pastries. Just get the square shaped Pepperidge Farm sheets from the supermarket...they are already cut in individual squares. Defrost them. Place the filling of your choice (keema/shredded chicken/potatoes/cheese, etc) in the center of each square. Wet all four edges and fold over the corners to create either a rectangle or a triangle. Press the edges to seal the pastry. Use a fork to further secure and crimp the edges. Take an egg, crack it into a bowl, and whisk it. This is your egg wash. Using a brush, coat each pastry with the egg wash. Then sprinkle a few cumin seeds (zeera) on top of each pastry, and bake according to package instructions.

Yesterday I had very little time left in aftari, i quickly took boneless chicken, cut into normal tikka size cubes, added lemon juice, giner garlic powder, tikka masala powder, garam masala, salt, chili powder, kasoori methi n little yogurt in it. Then skewed them on to wooden skewers with tomatoes, onions n capsicums, brushed them lightly with oil n baked them in oven, once turning side like after 10min, in 20-25 min they were ready so juicy n tasty, remember put skewers little above the tray. You can sprinkle chaat masala mixed with dry mint powder on it n enjoy your chicken tikkas
