any1 got any remedies for dry cough while pregnant - its for my wife?

she has tryed taking honey b4 going bed no joy, also garlic in tea again no joy,
its very painful for her.

If the cough lasts for more then three days she needs to speak with her doctor.

When pregnant one should always talk with a doctor or pharmacist. They are the best to help you and provide you with the right medication.

I think it's ginger tea that is recommended, never heard of a garlic tea.
Also try a humdifier in ur room, sleep a little propped up (it might be post nasal drip causing the cough),
or a lot of times esp. in pregnancy could be acid reflux irritating throat and causing a cough. Try tums waghaira
if that is the case. I wouldn't recommend an H2 blocker or a PPI unless absolutely necessary.
In some instances post virally, the airways become hyper reactive and in those cases inhalers might help.
