Joshua D. Shelton, 21, Delmar, Md., is accused of turning off power to three chicken houses, resulting in the deaths of 70,000 chickens .were valued at $20,000. He was wandering around a Delmar, Md., poultry farm in a drunken stupor when he turned off the power, sheriff’s officials said.

I don't blame him b'coz he's the victim here. Those person should be sentenced for life who actually make alcohol.

Lethal, it is the USA, do you think everyone who drinks alcohol is walking around in a drunken stupor was being forced to drink? He is over the legal age...it is his responsibility, and no where is it mentioned that he was forced to drink.
A few weeks back there was a young boy in a vehicle stopped on one of the side roads, when we saw his face we knew he was intoxicated. So we stopped by his window and asked him if he was ok coz he was blocking other vehicles as he was in the middle of that road...and he said he is calling someone else to come and drive for him coz he knew it would be dangerous for him and others for him to be just driving around...and my friend and a few other ppl walking by helped him to back up his vehicle away from the main road and park it up properly till he waited for who ever he called.
I was glad he was not silly enough to drive off and kill himself or someone else...
If we have to blame who ever invented something...there are so many things we can blame others for...which are more dangerous than alcohol.

Of'coz there are so many things but why don't we start from it? Today we'll start from it and 2maro with something else which effect same. I know DUI cause injuries not only to themselve but to others too but still it is available in Market. Do u know that in Russia, vodka is much much cheaper than half little of water bottle?
Why the alcohol is cheaper than water? Of'coz there is something fisshy going on :)

in most countries water is cheaper than alcohol..I am not saying that alcohol is good...but you can't say that this guy is a victim...he is not!
This is the human race we are talking about...things will never be perfect, but ppl need to be responsible for their own actions.

more than 3 chicken per dollar. i doubt those chicken were exactly happily living life. probably better off dead.

Yes every person is reponsible for his or her action but before one see/judge others action they should find the core of those action. Eventually that would be alcohol.
