Re: Drunk Doc!
I saw the video on FB where she's being obnoxious as hell. She deserves everything she gets.
Driver wasn't Muslim, I think European descent, but cmon, she kneed him in the groin, he had every right to defend himself!

Re: Drunk Doc!
I think the driver was more than a gentlemen. Yeah, he pushed her to the ground (after she kicked his groin) but he didn’t attack her, yell at her, pull her out of the car. If I were him I wouldn’t have that much restraint and a cat fight woulda gone down. rawwwrrr ![]()
Re: Drunk Doc!
She did not look all that inebriated, many desis still subscribe to the disgusting class system where they feel that money and education makes them superior to others and they can be rude, offensive and condescending to other people. I have been around drinking all my life and haven't witnessed this kind of behavior. It is just stupid values and upbringing that is responsible for this.
Re: Drunk Doc!
Liar, she is definitely more than 100 lbs, now that's very unbecoming of a doctor, punish her I say.
Re: Drunk Doc!
He didn't have to hold her wrists down for so long or push her. He could have just walked away and kept a distance. Gotten back in the car and driven off even and called the police from a distance.
I just saw the video. Uber driver is partially at fault. Why was he holding her wrists. He could have handled this without coming 5 feet near her or holding her wrists. And he held them for a while, didn't let go. When he did, he pushed her to the curb and she fell. That's when she got out of control.
If he did press charges she would say he was holding her against her well. She tries to get out of his grip twice from what I could see and he didn't let go of her wrists.
She is drunk so she is perceiving his aggression and retaliating. He is not drunk and should know better. He could have called the cops from inside his car and never have gotten out.
The filming crew was just the guy who originally ordered that uber. She was too wasted to realize it wasn't the uber she might have called, got in thinking it was her ride. Too drunk to sort it out.
If anything I'd say uber driver could be responsible. Either party tries to press charges then automatically they will have charges pressed on them so mutually both parties are staying quiet.
Too bad she lost her job over this. Matching into another residency will be hard.
This is no time to play spot the feminazi.
Re: Drunk Doc!
I'm curious who was the Uber driver. Muslim ?
The Indian crowd at UM-Jackson (love how UM pulls the "she isn't a UM employee" card), is mostly Gujarati and that too super anti-Pakistani and anti-Muslim. Like very visibly. How often they trash talk us at their parties. I know a few Muslim kids would show up at their events but when I saw a girl tear up a poster ad at UM for a Muslim event rolling her eyes and making mean gestures to her friends about us, I was done. Never went to one of their Indian meetings again. Very obnoxious crowd. The Indians in other parts of the country aren't like this at all and in fact Indian immigrants are way more welcoming to us. Maybe it's just a south Florida thing since professional behavior is horrid down here, but these kids come mostly from families in central and north Florida where indian doctors are raising families in small towns since money is so good in these small towns for docs. Most of them are not south Florida natives.
I work at another university now in Fl. Indian kids here don't behave like this.
Didn't you fight them? Or are you only so vocal and agressively opionated online?

Yea he did. It is clear from the video that she was trying to hit him and was getting on his face and that's why he was holding her hand. The reason he pushed her away is so that he can get in his car with her following him. That clearly did not work. If this ended in court, no judge or jury would find him guilty of anything.
Additionally, when she gets out of the car and starts walking the street (her walk, standing up, manner of speaking through the whole thing).....combined with the fact that as soon as the cops put her inside the car she started crying about her being a doctor/losing license.....all this shows that she was not drunk out her mind. She knew what she was doing. It would be one thing if she couldn't stand straight, slurring speech etc.....but nope......she has enough control to be aware that her actions were wrong.
The driver here was more than a gentleman. That 30-year-old woman should thank him over and over to him for not pressing charges and putting her in jail.

Now that's an interview I want to see.
She's gonna play the "feel sorry for me.....I did something wrong....I admit it....I have to take responsibility for my actions.....this was nothing more than bad judgement on my part....." card.
I wonder if her parents have invested in a good image consultant....
