u mean okra, ladyfinger, bhindi?
u can make fried bhindi as well.
and I have had some awesome bhindi nihari.
i have actually chargrilled sauteed bhindi as well, and it got a really cool smoky flavour then.

clad I thought the same, my parents have cut down on meat due to health issues so mum keeps experimenting with diff things, and I have to tell you, I am a carnivore through and through, but that bhindi nihari was awesome.

she also makes kala chana shammi kebabs, good stuff
