When i headed home after sorting out an evening call, i planned to take the kids out for dinner. However they had opted to play cricket in the front yard with their cousins. Eldest one who is recovering from minor surgery couldn’t play so he opted to serve as an umpire…the third umpire. Now he set up a web cam at bowlers end and another one at point position. He watched the game from his room, and every run out and lbw appeal was assessed on replays. DRS is getting into the backyard cricket as well.
