Re: Droughts to hit the USA

^yeaa....I am not a weather expert...but I can already feel the wether in Canada changing...like last winter...it was not at all how it should have been...it was mild compared to other winters...and it is also getting hotter and hotter during the summer.

Re: Droughts to hit the USA

I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but from what I know the powers that be seem to be obsessed with continueing the current status quo as it were.

For example I had a friend in Denmark a fine businessman who spent years investing in some of the most succesfull ventures across the globe. He made one mistake, he invested in a energy and renewable resource project… dubbed “Estriatus energy” it led to him becoming bankrupt despite the fact that his water pumps were perhaps the finest solution to some of the worlds most needy people.

In another part of the world and a much less talked about case, anyone heard of the “great man made rivers project” it was a very clever idea by Libyas regime to pump sea water through a cleaning facility and then channel it under the desert to the most needy parts of north africa right under the Sahara… this was no mere drawing room idea or some kind of dream… it was up till 2010 a serious reality and huge works had allready began the pipes were still in place until a few months ago although the war and the state of the nation today… nobody knows whats happened to that project…

Likewise there have been simmilar projects in other parts of the world, all of them perfectly feasible and many had even begun construction work… all of a sudden things went wrong and then nobody heard anymore about it… strange huh? :hmmm:

Oh well I suppose we might never know the truth of the matter although on a good note Estriatus Energy has got some british investers now so there might be some hope yet…

Droughts to hit the USA

Not many realise this but a few years ago russia had a mild drought, causing the cost of food to go up in parts of the world. The average person was being pushed to the limits. one man then set himself on fire in desperation, that broke the dam and people came out in protest against their gov, and that was the birth of the arab spring.

This year the US suffered a serious drought. Being a major exporter of crops, this will likely have major effects around the world, a lot bigger than russia’s drought did.

We are yet to see the full affects, but we are already hearing reports of wheat and food cost going up in the Uk and world over due to the US drought, and parents skipping meals to feed their kids in the uk. What this means in the near future is anyones guess, but i fear the repercussions will be on a much bigger scale than the arab spring.

In a recent report a scientist from cambridge who believes that global warming is such a serious threat, but is deliberately being ignored for obvious reasons; That he and his colleague turned to the theatre themselves to educate people.

He didn’t do any acting, just turned the stage into an office, and would just stand there and explain the effects climate change will have in the future, within the context of world population increase. The end results were shocking and his shows repeatedly sold out.
