Picking and choosing parts of Islamic teachings is?
The current leadership of so called “Islamic” Republic has time and again mocked scholars who want Islamic teachings to be implemented in this country, and the current leadership has always dealt with issues against Islamic teachings under the banner of “National Interest”. You think Allah is not watching this? How can you expect Allah to be Merciful on Pakistanis when Pakistanis as a nation are not even repenting on their earlier actions?
There are people whom you may consider patriotic Pakistanis on this forum who want Pakistan to support the US regardless, so that US can be on Pakistan’s side.
To me this is hypocritical, since a Muslim has to submit himself completely to Allah swt, and when I see the Pakistani leadership not following Islamic teachings most of the time, and that too knowingly, they are nothing but hypocrites. If this isn’t hypocrisy, then what is it?
