SYDNEY (AFP) - Residents of a drought-stricken Australian town will vote this week on whether they’re prepared to drink water recycled from sewage – the first such scheme in the country and one of only a handful in the world
Re: Drought-stricken Australia considers drinking recycled sewage
**It cost a whole lot less to use a Reverse Osmosis System than to transport water, ofcourse not too appealing apparently, however look around you the rain that falls from the sky is recycled water that was once flowing thru some cities sewer system right? **
Re: Drought-stricken Australia considers drinking recycled sewage
Living in London, the water I drank came from the river Thames, which by the time it reached London already contained the output of several sawage treatment plants. It would be retreated and made drinkable in London for local consumption.
