In todays Meray Mutabiq Gen r Aslam Baig said that according to his info the Drone attacks are being carried out from inside Pakistan and they are flying from Tarbela and the logistical support came from within the Marriot- You guys will recall Ansar Abbasi reporting that marriot was bombed because of American Marines taking some containers onto the fourth floor!

Its no wonder the Pakistani Army is in such shambles when such nonsensical theories are being spewed by once high ranking members of the Army
These drone attacks have saved thousands of Pakistani lives by killing Al Qaeda terrorists. So publically the Pak govt condemns these attacks but privately they cheer them on as it less terrorists they have to kill.
I highly doubt they are flown from Pakistan...they could be maintained or armed in Pak under US supervision but I doubt that USA trusts Pak enough to land their sophisticated Drones in Pak

Today 31 were killed by drone attacks. Since Obama took power there have been more drone attacks and number killed.
It is surprising Pakistan is so silent that Pakistanis are being killed in their own country by drones being fired from Pakistan. Is US controlled Pakistan?

one question, if the drones were controlled from some1 sitting in Islamabad then why MArriot! why not American Emmbassy? I mean why they were not controlled by some1 sitting in the Embassy?
2nd IF there are some bases in Pakistan fromwhere these drones fly, then it's logical that the drones are controlled from the SAME base. Why move the controls to an UNSECURE facility in mid town!

ok so my first response here was taken off by over zealous mods. my feelings regarding these drone bases are better described by using expletives but nevermind.
the real revelation in all this is the complicity of the pak (halal/pure/clean) forces whilst using anti american statements at the same time.
and to think pak army claimed that american drones were not targeting anti pak militants, only loyal pro pakistan tribals. sickening
same goes for both governments who have overseen this operation
Its not surprising that news like this comes out after weeks, if not months by these retired generals. Shouldnt it be that they report it WHEN incidents take place and do investigations and such.
