There have been very few strikes in settled areas, maybe 1-2 so this a direct challenge of the US to the PTI led KPK government. It would also challenge their resolve now to block the NATO supplies. I dont know why the US is getting it that these strikes are only increasing anti Americanism in the country.

when N$ returned from the US trip, he said you will soon see the cessation of drone strikes [during negotiations with TTP?] but what happened? MeHsud was killed and that killed the peace process.
now, yesterday, the FO [Sartaj Azeez?] said the US has agreed to halt drone attacks during the talks between TTP and the Pakistan government. what happens a day later [and a few days before IK's dharnaa] in KPK? a drones hits a madrasa and kills students and teachers.
are those just co-incidences or a well thought out plan? you be the judge. ise kahte haiN "ek teer se do shikaar".

i think this attack was political one and not of any direct significance in battle field. They just wanted to show thier authority over the puppet politicians and forces. Timing may be is to put more pressure to get army chief of their choice.( a wild guess)

Innocent people? Read the news item again. What Afghan nationals were doing on Pakistan soil? Isn't key person and Afghans killed belonged to 'maut ke saudagar'. If Pakistan government can not handle these murderers, Allah has decided some other way to punish them.

By your pathetic 'logic', Karachi should be the main target for drones strikes as this is where Taliban have managed to gain some strong footing and the city holds a large Afghan population. Should we also send hundreds and hundreds of drones to take out each and every Afghan scattered in the city? What say?
What Afghans doing in Pakistan is Pakistan's internal matter, Pakistan should come with an effective policy and procedures to arrange a systematic way of return to Afghanistan . It's none of America's business - considering they are not at war with either Afghans or Afghan Taliban - to wreck havoc in Pakistan, cause material damage and kill innocent people.

the report says...the madrasa and it's two teachers who got killed were linked to Haqqaanii group. they also said that some Haqqani members were reported to be in the school at the time.
these are initial reports. IK promised to publish the victims' names and their photos...let's wait for that. let's see who actually got killed.

Now the KPK govt will hold the demonstration officially on 23rd in Peshawar. Before it was just the PTI party. Not that it makes much difference whoever does.
