On the one side Taleban offer negotiations to the government and on the other keep on their killing spree. With Taleban continuing with their terrorist activities, how do you think a break through can be achieved?

Should the state forego their sovereignty to the taleban as a result of these negotiations?

There is no doubt that the Taliban continued with their policy to spill blood on streets while waiting for a favorable reply for their offer. The state should have asked them to stop the bloodbath if they were serious about their offer. But it did not happen. And now they have this excuse to withdraw the offer which was not in place anyway. Sharif and Imran are not in favour of using force, but they need to come up with a strategy which talks about peace, but does not show the state in a helpless position.
