It is because of Taliban apologists and their supporters that Taliban khawarij continue to be a problem in Pakistan.

America is not going to talk to Taliban who don’t pledge to strike American interests. America does not want to bog down to a worthless place like Afgh and waste its resources. So they will be willing to talk to the most violent extremists if they have to, regardless of what they do to the local people under their rule.

Remember that their biggest ally in the region, Saudi, is not very far from Talibanic ideology. Only difference is that Saudis don’t act against American interests and Taliban do. So if tomorrow Taliban decide to ally with America then Americans will have no problem accepting their khariji ideology imposed on Afgh and Pak.
