I support talks to wean over the foot soldiers and low level combatants, but in the garb of peace talks should the government give clean chit to the barbarians who are responsible for over 40000 deaths in the country? Shouldn’t they be punished according to the rule of the land? If they can be granted an immunity then what justification does the government have in keeping other murderers in jail for the same crimes?.

The government probably didn’t even know about this drone attack until it read the newspaper.
