You responded to the question that there were no "suicide" attacks before war on terror saying that because Afghans were in their country and not in Pakistan. I said no they were here too. What you are saying could be correct but that does not address the actual question. Were there any suicide attack back than? weapons and drug can be controlled through good rule of law. suicide attacks are very hard to stop and need extra fine intelligence.

Before 9/11, in year 2000, during the 2nd Intifada, there were suicide attcks in Israel.
After 9/11, suicide attacks mushroomed. By far, mostly in Muslim countries.

Now I believe that there are Pakistani side of this as well who think that only they are true muslims and rest of us are infidels and should be killed. This all is circling around US war on terror. This is not our war. We need to get out of it ASAP.
