Drone Attacks Continuing

The secret service cannot get inside the taliban, as the taliban is inside the secret service.

Re: Drone Attacks Continuing

^ by that token pakistani army aided the taliban so we cannot trust them to carry out an opeartion.

Not quite, we can trust them but we should hold the Generals accountable. Even if the Generals are playing games, the jawan at the sword end deserves all our trust and support because he is the one laying his life for our comfort.

Re: Drone Attacks Continuing

^we are not discussing here whether soldiers fighting deserve are support or not. i am saying if ISI cannot be trusted then by that very token so cant be the army. for these soldiers are merely following commands of the general that "might" be playing games as per you.

I tend to agree, but their are other complications with using NATO/US to fight this war.

Re: Drone Attacks Continuing

^khehkeshan surprise me further how big of faction of pakistani society do you consider to be extremist? so far i have rounded up religious groups, tribals,ISI, army beign infiltrated.

Re: Drone Attacks Continuing

It's huge - the jihadi disease was heavily funded and promoted by Zia, ISI, IB with the backing of CIA initially. It is truly a state within a state. Taliban did not grow out of thin air.

Re: Drone Attacks Continuing

^ i'll wager that anyone who doesnot fit the outfit layed out by secular ideaology will be packed and neatly filed away as inflicted by jihadi disease.

Re: Drone Attacks Continuing

Deny deny deny. How long will you try to play this game?

Re: Drone Attacks Continuing

^ deny deny deny what mate? the definition of this "disease" is extremely murky.

Re: Drone Attacks Continuing

There is nothing murky about the nihilistic thinking and ultimate goals of taliban/jihadi groups. I have spelled it out many times, but if you can't understand it, that is not my fault.

Re: Drone Attacks Continuing

sure and you have also spelled it out many times that you think pakistan should be a secular country. forgive me for thinking that you might consider anyone who wants an islamic state under the banner of "nihilistic thinker".

Probably the best thing by AH in his lifetime.

Lets give credit where due.

Re: Drone Attacks Continuing

:salute: Yes Sir!! Praise be to Altaf Hussain for writing letter to President Barack Obama. i await immediate cease of drone attacks

i am almost surprised at you. imran's letter is a political ploy and altaf's sincere?

Re: Drone Attacks Continuing

Drone Attacks should continue...they are killing terrorists and eliminating al qaeda animals

Pakistan is benefiting from this.

Who knows how many thousand Pakistani lives have been saved by these drone attacks by killing these killers who were planning suicide attacks in Pakistan

yes you would like that, cuz ur safe far far away from there. :)

how about the number of innocent lives lost? or have you forgotten the report that rated the success at 8% while the other 92%+ were civilian casualties...

elimination of extremists is and should be top priority, but it should not come at the cost of 10:1 ratio of civilians. that's just plain stupid and akin to free recruitment of more extremists.

Imran is looking for publicity for himself and his 5 internet based members of PTI. Altaf doesn't need any such thing.

do you think Obama will open the letter and comply? i'm really counting on it... :(

Not true at all. The talib/jihadi mindset is born from the concept of pan-islamisim which disregards concepts like state lines, nationality and seeks to topple all governments deemed kafir (all of them are kafir besides the holy taliban one) through sheer terror and extreme brutality.

I may want a secular pakistan, but I know that will never happen and that's fine by me as long as talib "sharia" is not forced down my throat by threat of beheading or suciding.
