Here’s The Distance by Cake!

(Cake also has some other great songs if anyone’s interested)

Re: Driving Music!

No one :frowning:

Here’s another song.. This one is by Bush - The people that we love

Re: Driving Music!

i don’t listen to music when travelling.

sorry. :bummer:

Re: Driving Music!

Here’s the symphony & metallica version of Fuel (think coke studio but one Band & the SanFran Orchestra). I like this verion of Fuel because the opening guitar riffs imitate gear changes so its cool how they show acceleration.

Re: Driving Music!

me again! Cars by Gary Numan; Enjoy

Re: Driving Music!

Anything really. I just play whatever I’m in the mood for. I think anything can count for good driving music.

Re: Driving Music!

At least throw in some Daft Punk!

Re: Driving Music!

When I am driving alone I listen to Taleem ul Quran lectures of Dr. Farhat Hashmi.
One friend of mine commented at least if you die in a car crash , Quran will be the last thing you were listening to and that might be your tosha a akhrat. That reinforced my conviction to keep this practice going.

Re: Driving Music!

Hey Si4e! How you doing today? Not bad & you.. I’m swell, thanks for asking. Here’s another song I think you may enjoy while cruising with your windows down.

Re: Driving Music!

I try not to listen to music when i drive. I drive calmly then.

Re: Driving Music!

here are my choices: (its a mixture of trance, house, sufi, pakistani, instrumental etc, but nothing is heavy metal punk style)

real stuff starts @ 1.40

will share more.

Re: Driving Music!

^ I like As The Rush Comes, she looks French.

Here’s an oldie goldie… actually, it’s not even a good driving song, I only post because it’s titled after a car.

lol; I like.**

Re: Driving Music!

I’m in the same boat as some of the others and not listen to music (most of the time). I either have some netcasts on or audiobooks. Better to learn something and spend time more productively. I do drive extensively throughout the week (16-20 hours).

But the music (or any other audio) you choose should depend on what kind of driving you’re doing. If its 10-15 mnts of urban driving rock/metal is ok. But if you are doing interstate driving for 2-3 hours you’d wanna blow your brains out with that much head-banging music.
