i am sure, that most of us know or heard about teens and young adults who drive rash and one day they get into a terrible accident.
a few days ago, 5 friends of my youngest brother, hit a tree and the car turned terribly up side down, while they were going home.
each one of them sustained injuries of lungs, head and neck.
two died while being treated.
profuse internal bleeding that could not even be detected at first.
terrible pain for the loved one. and young life lost over night, just like that unexpectedly.
someone who has seen personal loss, the agony of being in the hospital with a family member in the IC units at hospitals can clearly state how hard it is to see some one go like that.
praying for an easy passage becomes the priority rather than seeing the young life, fight over life in excruciating pain.
so, what we as older siblings, cousins, mentors and aunts and uncles need to do is prevent such accidents by training the young drivers to be a lot, a lot more cautious on the roads, and high ways.
please share your thoughts on this. and perhaps we can come up with structured ways to take away the car and the driver licenses of young people who have made it a habit to be in the accidents due to unforgiving speeding and rash driving, and not give them back their driving privilege unless they know and fully understand that driving has rules that must be strictly followed for one’s own safety and the safety of others on the road.

stereotypical for me .. old person of 80 hitting a tree, totally different than a younger teenager/type hitting a tree..
sunday night, SIMILAR situation took place.. university students finished their exams, were celebrating, coming back, rear differential broke RIGHT out and front axel lost total balancing... and the mini van took three flips.. i received the distress call from fire and ambulance dispatch and ran.. turned out i knew the ppl.. within minutes we rushed to creditvalley hospital ...
after investigating of the vehicle, and hearing *****ing and complaining of the parents of the people involved, in my opinion, it could've happend to ANY ONE .. but noOooOOoOOo sire, driver was a young women and car was filled with teenagers.. lets bash them ..
having said that.. younger driver should be carefully sent to driving and safety school.. should be shown crashes and videos of wreckage .. cuz only then the pain and severity of a situation gets implanted in their heads.. they should be given reliable cars, but the ones u cant have any fun in it .. not a death trap 0to60 in blah blah timings..
should ask them to 'check in' every half hour they're out ALONE..
on the other hand, they should be given more and more driving time when combined people are out. .
but all in all, u just cannot be safe ENOUGH...

true i agree , cnfused.
yet,who gets it to accidents more often - obviously the chance of those who get into a car and drive at a top speed, is a lot more higher than for someone who takes their car out once in a blue moon.
yes, we cannot be safe every where and anything can happen to any one.
but , it is sometimes, not just luck, it is also what we know and what we do to ourselves, esp being young spirited and les careful.
i dont blame the teens, but i would definitely have a different take for them since they need to be taught how to drive carefully and then stick to the driing rules for avoiding massive accidents and life loss.

Dushwari... yeah I heard about that too! All of them were just between 18-20 years of age, unfortunately they were racing... as most kids this age like getting adrenaline rushes out of things such as these.
It's not even about driving carefully, it's about being sensible while behind the wheel.
Very sad story though.... this Friday was one of the young boys' janaazah.
Pray for his maghfirat as well please.
