For your convenience, CITI Bank is installing new drive-through teller machines. To help you use these new facilities, please read the procedure below that applies to your gender.
MALE PROCEDURE
- Drive up to the machine.
- Roll down your car window.
- Insert your ATM card into the machine and enter your PIN.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to perform your transactions.
- Retrieve your card, cash, and/or receipt.
- Roll up your window.
- Drive away.
FEMALE PROCEDURE
- Drive up to the machine.
- Shift into Reverse and back up to align your car window with the machine.
- Set your parking brake.
- Roll down your car window.
- Find your handbag, dump all of its contents onto the passenger seat, and locate your ATM card.
- Turn down your radio volume.
- Return everything to your handbag except your ATM card.
- Attempt to insert your card into the machine.
- Open your car door to reach the machine, due to its unusual distance from the car.
- Insert your ATM card.
- Re-insert your card the right way up.
- Dig through your handbag to find your diary with your PIN written on the inside back page.
- Enter your PIN into the machine.
- Press Cancel and re-enter your correct PIN.
- Begin your transaction by following the on-screen instructions.
- Check your makeup in your rear-view mirror.
- Complete your transaction.
- Retrieve your card, cash, and/or receipt.
- Empty your handbag again to locate your wallet and checkbook.
- Place your cash in your wallet and your receipt in the back of your checkbook, then return everything to your handbag.
- Re-check your makeup.
- Drive forward two feet.
- Shift into Reverse and back up to the cash machine again.
- Retrieve your ATM card from the machine.
- Re-empty your handbag, re-locate your wallet, and put your ATM card back to it.
- Give an appropriate one-fingered hand signal to the irate male drivers queuing behind you.
- Restart your (stalled) car and drive away.
- Drive for two to three miles.
- Release your parking brake.
