Drinking enough water

Drinking enough water can be a challenge. I try to drink first thing in the morning. And then before lunch. Most of the times when I am eating I realise I am actually thirsty and not hungry. And I get really thirsty at night because I haven’t drunk enough in the morning. How do you ensure adequate water intake?

I can drink gallons of water because I love it but my problem is whatever goes in has to come out and I really feel like I don't have time to go to the bathroom every hour!! It becomes such a pain.

Drinking plenty of water can reduce Cholestrol and Fat level,It can cleanse intestine,can make your skin look young. :)

Drink one glass of water before breakfast, then after few hours. I never drink lot of water after meal, but drink after half an hour.

You should at least drink 8 glasses in a day. More water mean, more glowing skin.

I try to take 120z 6 to 7 glasses minimum and I have changed my habit from drinking icy cold water to actually water at room temperature. The women in my family are not water drinkers so I was never big on drinking water but keep a bottle with you or make yourself water infused with mint and lemon and drink it throughtout the day especially everytime you feel like you have to munch on something.

I drink about 3 liters of water every day and I love how it works on me. My body really functions well and it helps me to have a good metabolism. Sometimes I make infused water to add some taste it. Water has a boring taste so Lemonade is a good choice for me.

During the summer it's not an issue because I'm always thirsty but during winters I use an app to record my water intake. It's a really good motivator and monitor of habits.

I drink 9-10 cups of water everyday but yeah it's true I go to the bathroom a lot compared to my family members haha. You eventually get used to it.

Yes, you eventually get used to it. Drinking of water is very important because our body is composed of water and we need to drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration. As a I said infused water is a great idea if you are bored of drinking water alone.

Try filling up a bottle as routine every morning and drink it completely by noon, then fill again. This will ensure adequate water in-take.

As opposed to the average 8 cups a day that we normally hear about, we are supposed to consume half of our body weight in ounces. For example if a person weighs 150 lbs, they should drink at least 75 oz of water a day (8 oz measures into 1 cup) but if someone weighs 200 lbs then they should consume at least100 oz a day. That's 12 & 1/2 cups of water a day.

What helps me drink more water is every time my bottle/cup gets finished rather than waiting for when I get thirsty, I refill it right away. This way when I feel like drinking water, instead of getting lazy & prolonging the refill or getting another cup of water, I just sip it right away & no matter what I always keep water handy. My water moves around the home with me. Yup that's how much I love water.

Going out my cell phone & keys are as important as carrying a water bottle. We also buy small water bottles in bulk from Sam's Club & always keep it the trunk of our family car. It has helped in emergency situations as well.

Also when we were living in a house. We had bought a small fridge from Walmart & placed it in our garage. Going out, we would just grab bottles for ourselves & our child or any other people going out with us. This way when water is easily available you don't just drink more of it but it also helps you save money & the headache of when you or a child gets thirty & you have to stop somewhere just to get water. Not to mention when you are thirsty & out you are more prone to buying soda/pop/juices/sugary drinks than buying actual water.

As far as the frequent restroom trips are concerned, it will happen but that's good because it just helps us get rid of all the toxins in our body. Clear skin & less cellulite anyone?

Extremely useful info abt half body wt in ounces. Was going to ask abt units for body wt. Kg or pound have 2.2 factor. But u covered it.

Great idea of refilling as soon as mt. I will incorporate it while at work.

Re small plastic water bottles, that is a lot of plastic. So big carbon footprint. For family outings 2 gallon plastic bottles for family family would be more environmentally benign. Plastic surface to internal volume minimized.

The water is as important for human life as the Air and we can not survive without it. A normal person needs to intake 8-10 glass in his daily life. The water is important for the human life as the air and water give the life and water take the life. The impure and unclean water is the root of all chronic diseases and we can only save our life by taking clean and pure drinking water.

One of the first things I do when I reach the office in the morning: I fill up a 1.5-liter jug of water and place it on my desk. By lunch I have usually finished at least one jug. After lunch it’s another one or two.

Unfortunately my water intake on weekends is much lower. It should be more, but it isn’t.

I just drank 3 liters of water in an hour.. dont know why.. I usually consumes 1-2 liters a day..
