Did anyone here book to go to the London makeup seminar?

Sounds like there was quite a bit of drama..

DressYourFace

Yup I read it on Instagram.

DressYourFace

What was the drama.?!

DressYourFace

Oh just caught up.. To be fair she should have waited till her visa was in her hand before comfirming dates! Second time jts happened?

Re: DressYourFace

^Agree.. or contacted the people who’d booked when it was clear she wasn’t getting on the plane to London..

7 or so hours notice minimum before everyone would have turned up to the venue would have been better than telling them once they were there in the room imo..

This is what happened in her own words for anyone who’s wondering.. Basically she didn’t make it to the UK (for the second time)..

Is it me or is there no apology in there?

She didnt apologise just a long flowery response. Alot of the people were angry that those who stayed behind were certified despite not being told that would be the case. How can they certify when she isnt there herself personally to oversee the class.. Hmm!

Re: DressYourFace

I don’t get it…why did she need a visa? She’s not a U.S. Citizen? :konfused:

She is a US citizen so even i dont get why she needed a visa? Loads of people travel to and from the us/uk for business.. Drama indeed!

Re: DressYourFace

Wow! I looked up tickets for these and they were £500 plus upwards, wasn't that keen as it's more for serious MUAs etc, but still, what a blow. I don't know what's worse though, the gutted people who missed out or the people who are being a little mean on there, I kinda feel sorry for DYF :(

Re: DressYourFace

^ she's a citizen but apparently considered a "celebrity"...so she has to get some special visa or something. i remember reading that on her facebook the first time she was detained at the airport.

Re: DressYourFace

I used to be a big fan of hers but anyone else notice her super super diva-like attitude. I followed her on snapchat recently (I don't know why I hate-follow these people since it boils my blood to see their snaps half the time) and she is SO irritating. And then I read her "not so apologetic" "apology" about the London incident and I couldn't believe it. I don't get the visa situation but I always just figured she was trying to taut that she was SO important that she needed a special visa.

Re: DressYourFace

^ exactly. she does think she is SO important. i'm frankly kind of sick of her. she needs to calm down a bit.
