Dressing-up for events..

Where do you begin? Do you begin with your clothes, makeup or accessories first? What routine do you follow..do you apply any mask before an event?

In what order do you apply your makeup?
Do you scramble at the last minute matching accessories?

i begin with washing/cleansing the face and applying moisturiser, then changing my son’s dress then makeup, then shouting at my son for spilling/spoiling atleast one of my makeup stuff everytime (mostly messing up his clothes) then clothes and accessories, then changing my son AGAIN and taking my shoes along in the car as I cannot drive in heels..so, not a lot of fun usually !

last minute accessories: usually no accessories as i wear a hijab and full sleeves outfits, so nothing shows much.

I start with applying my foundation and then the rest of my makeup followed by clothes. After i'm done with clothes I put my jewellery on. I usually don't wear much jewellery so as far as jewellery is concerned i'm done within a minute lol

If its a big party sharty, then I do a mask the night before. The next day, I start with:

Washing, cleansing and moisturizing.

Sunscreen, Foundation and then my make up. Lipstick goes on last.

I change into clothes that have usually been chosen and ironed the night before and clip on accessories that were also planned.

I hate scrambling last minute for anything! It ruins my mood.

I put on my clothes first, then makeup, and then jewellery. I usually have my clothes picked out and stuff as soon as we get the invite to go somewhere :D But i am still a last minute scrambler, especially now since i have to get the baby ready adn make sure she doesnt mess up her clothes before we head out the door.

Depends if the children are coming along or not; if it’s the former, then there is a lot of scrambling, else i choose the footwear or a piece of jewellery i like first… then i work the outfit/makeup/hair around that.

I wash my face and moisturize. Then I get the kids ready and change my clothes and put makeup on. The jewelry comes on last but sometimes I forget because I'm usually in a rush when I'm putting makeup on and then I run out the door.

Hair, clothes, makeup, finish hair, accessorize, check makeup again, perfume, pack purse, shoes...out the door!

if i am going to a party i used a mask or scrub. then i make my hair style first. usually i do my hair straight or outward blow dry. then makeup, clothes and accessorize.

Foundation, hair, eyes, clothes, blusher, jewellery and then depending on how sober/ott I look lipstick or liploss.

I use a calming mask (moroccon rose) and do my foundation and eyes..then hair. Wear my clothes and then all the accessories... last is blush and lipstick..and then shoes!

The outfit, shoes and accessories I pick-out in advance.

hair (if needing to be done) foundation, eyes, blusher, lips, clothes, shoes, bangles/ rings then down the stairs where evryones swearing at me for taking too long =)
