Just a little reminder that I am passing on to you guys, on the day of Eid, one should dress modestly. Please do not think this as a fashion show!!! It’s a day when we collect our reward from Allah! Just think, how would you go and collect your pay cheque or scholarship or whatever it may be. Please keep in mind Allah’s orders are above all orders! Hijab is a must not only in Ramadan but all year long! Do not come collecting your reward from Allah without hijab! this goes out to brothers too!

I agree, Eid is not an occasion of celebrating one’s escape from a jail. Some people immediately start doing acts which they avoided during ramadan, like bad songs, movies…etc. In fact a scholar mentioned that on the day of Eid the rewards of our efforts in Ramadan are decided/ given. Imagine a person violating the rules just at the time when his reward has to be decided. That is not a senseable act to do.
May Allah (s.w.t) bless us all with wisdom and strength to be guided towards the right path.
