Does anyone follow DYF on Instagram/Twitter/snapchat/whtaever hte new thing is these days?
I follow her once in a while on IG and came across her free video and it was pretty nifty. Maybe MAYBE thinking of the tutorial but idk. Wouldn’t mind the free gifts

How much is the membership? Annually or a one-time live video viewing thing?

She has a monthly membership ($19) and a yearly one for $150....the yearly one gives you free products I think. Otherwise, she has lots of videos up that only members can access so idk.

I used to have her membership when it first started but I cut it off. She annoys the crap out of me. She's let her "fame" go to her head and I don't like her heavy handed looks. There's no variety to her style. The only video of hers that I actually learned something useful was the brow tutorial.

But I think her emphasize is more on full strong contouring, I'm already good at that for my own face; so not sure what else can be beneficial in those members only videos? Hmmm

When she first started it, it was only $7 a month. She's raised the price. Also, you guys know how she got the idea right? She ripped it off from Lily Gallichi. Lily was engaged to Dhar Mann, who is know dyf's business partner. Lily had the idea to launch online live tutorials via a membership. Dhar Mann quickly realized their was money to be made and also that Tammana Roshan had more star power so he and DYF pulled the wool over Lily's eyes and formed DYF Live. Lily dumped his ass after that lol. Also, as far as her "master classes" go, it's such a ripoff. I don't understand what her "certification" gets anyone? She doesn't spend a single penny on anything, everything is sponsored and paid for by vendors, she has zero overhead and pockets 100% of all the money. There is nothing hands on or instructional about her classes. She's a smart cookie and and a whiz at b*****ng, I'll give her that, but I find her to be extremely greedy and one dimensional. You can learn plenty more (and for free!) on YouTube from Jaclyn Hill or Goss.

Makeup aside one thing about these IG stars I will never get is their obsession with money or designer items -- like who cares? If you have it, enjoy it but don't complain about not having 'enough' or boohoo I have to buy clothes from F21, so what b i t c h embrace it, be thankful and live in grace.
What gives?!?

I love Tamanna's work but her personality grates on me a little bit.. I find Lilly and Huda Kattan more likeable.. IreneSarah needs to do something like DYF Live as well.. She's gorgeous and amazing with makeup..

Lily has taken the high road and doesn't comment much but she did one lethal insta rant against Dhar Mann when DYF Live launched and she figured out what was going on lol. I haven't seen her address Tammana directly though, she's probably scared of getting dragged through the mud on SnapChat lol

Goss and JH are much more fluid in their teaching methods.
Not everyone that does makeup can teach makeup. You have to have a special knack for that...delivering your techniques to students in a way where they can easily grasp them. Its not for everyone and that's why I don't buy into these online paid memberships.

I agree. I find Tamanna really irritating on snapchat, she posts like 1000 snaps and talks a looot. Removed her from snapchat after that lol

I follow boycott_dyf on Instagram lol, that’s where I get all my info from. It was started by two disgruntled ex fans who got screwed when Tamanna flaked on her London Master Class. They’ve made it their life’s mission to out her shadyness
The people who comment are a trove of juicy gossip. All of the people Tamanna has screwed over to get to the top (including some family and ex friends!!)
air the dirty laundry there. That insta profile is frequently the subject for Tam’s Tantrum Tuesday’s on Snapchat 
Tamanna and her “DYF Army” now frequently keep an eye on that page and if anyone who is one of her Insta followers as well comments or agrees or questions anything, she’ll ban them from her page too

although i have to say, some of the posts are just nitpicking about little things as well (eg. customer services etc) - i thought the post about DYF doing a tutorial about NYX palette then tapping on the anastasia contour palette instead was hilarious!!

There used to be a blog a few years ago talking all about youtube stars and their drama. The person running that blog shut it down, and you were being redirected to GossipGuru. Now I don’t like GossipGuru. But I am liking this thread.

That's my point exactly lol. And DYF's "exclusive glam boxes" that she pushes so hard are nothing by Dollar Store LA Girl maal. Same with her swag bags at her Master Classes.....$20 ka samaan for a $575 ticket....aur wo bhi sab donated by sponsors :D
