I bought a frowk and it came with churidaar. Now i asked my friend to get me a matching sharara made in pk…
Will it look nice? the frowk i have is kneelenght exactly… (I do have another one, which is about 10cm longer, which also might match the sharara.)
i did a search for pics but couldnt find one with a frowk…

Re: dress/frowk with sharara
can someone help???!
Re: dress/frowk with sharara
post a pic of your 'frock' so people have an idea of what you mean exactly.
Re: dress/frowk with sharara
I think it will look awesome, I have something similar and absolutly love the outfit.
Re: dress/frowk with sharara
Yes, this really should look very nice!
Re: dress/frowk with sharara
Well, I believe that it would look really good on tall girls but then not everyone is blessed with everything, right?? So the key lies in creating an illusion of height. How does one do that?? by playing with the length of the frock, so if u r
1–less then 5.5 then the length of the frock must be just above your knees.
2–more then 5.5 then the length of the frock must be just below your knees.
And wear Heels ![]()
Also make sure the frock is fitted becoz the sharara wil be voluminous
personally i think its looks ‘belle of the ball’ ‘zeenat-e-mehfil’ kinda outfit
here have a look..

Persimmon Orange Lengha and Anarkali Jacket - Exclusively In
In case you wanted to know.
Re: dress/frowk with sharara
^ Oh wow - you're the best!
Re: dress/frowk with sharara
WOW it is Beautifulllll in the close-ups!! A teeny bit of advice bout the above outfit, the sharara is of net and somehow i feel it sorta kills the whole look, I’ve begun to hate net-it doesn’t drape well, doesn’t fall well, it only bunches up here n there
its maddening!! So try n skip net for sharara n anarkalis, even dupattas! yeah I know how lovely net dupattas look but they come off way toooo sheer, so jst stick to net ghoongats.
back to the sharara of the above outfit, as the anarkali jacket is sufficiently flowy, the sharara need not be voluminous, an ivy kimkhwaab or brocade sharara will bring out the beauty of the flowy top. Case in point is the pic below

notice how the sharara is a bit stiff and cut in a more A-line, and the contrast which brings out the ghera of the frock?? Also notice that the frock is more on the pishwas style witha slit in front, so u can actually keep the frock as long as u want without worrying bout your height :). Lovely, esp for a mehndi/sangeet outfit where u can swirl around and show it off
