Dress beggars.

Re: Dress beggars.

tell ur wifey to be super choosy .I mean i barely like what people buy for me unless its a gift.i dont do nakhray on gifts but if i am paying i like to pick.and since what they bring is limited you can say MAIN khud ja ke shopping karoge pak/india

Re: Dress beggars.

I guess say you don't need anything new right now.

Re: Dress beggars.

oh yes them ppl who bring stuff and sell them... most of the time theyre all bad suits. ANYWAYS, you can always decline. i would only buy an item from a friend if i realllllyyyy like it. no point buying anything mediocre and that too if you or spouse is not liking it.

where in the US are you?

Re: Dress beggars.

Smallville , USA . Why you asking ? You have something to sell ? :D

Re: Dress beggars.

Wow... U can have such issu even as a grown up?! "pls be my friend etc" ...

I just flat out say im not looking and only trust myself for my own clothing.

Aapki begum thori naram dil ke maloom hothi hain...why not rub some mirch off on the gulab jamun mirch bahi :D

Re: Dress beggars.

Grown ups have more issues than non grown ups. The mere fact that we have six life and relationships forums is proof enough.
And to keep this place going we have to make non issues into issues otherwise we will have to lock this place and go home.
I am also naram dill ka , that is why I cannot say no to my angel like wife.

Re: Dress beggars.

Tell your wife to avoid that lady few times & she will get the hint.

Re: Dress beggars.

My wife is the same :smack:

and her list does not stop at desis. She has Arab/Somalian friends too who keep bringing abayaas. How many balack abayaas one can wear. They all look the same man

Re: Dress beggars.

Refer to post # 10 for your answer.

We should start a naram dill shohars club or . AAA for these kinds of wives . :hmmm:

Re: Dress beggars.

But it shouldn't be too hard to tell em that, "It's not what I'm looking for. But I appreciate you showing the clothes to me. I'll keep you in mind for the future when I need to buy a dress."

Re: Dress beggars.

Just tell your wife to blame it on you. Its the easiest thing in the world!

Re: Dress beggars.

^Then Mirch will lose the friendship of that woman's husband.

Return the woman's favor buy selling her something too....like drugs. I'm sure she'll leave you alone after that.

Re: Dress beggars.

I almost thought this was the begging for joras that goes on during morning shows. Last night, Rizwan Baig was on HUM’s morning show and this girl calls in and goes “Main toh suit lain ker hi choro ghi. Mujhe beshak aap kain paon main bhet na per jaein” :smack: and then the host Fahad Mustafa + guests got awkward and cringe-laughed and she continues “meri call pheli baar laghi hain. Main jahan marzi bhet nai ko tyaar ho!” and Fahad Mustafa literally does :smack: and then he jokingly points out it’s a “family show” and they hung up on her. LOL!

Oh and no, they didn’t give her a suit (which btw was Rs. 2500, which isn’t even expensive to begin with) so she got major pwnage. :hehe: But aside from that, do people have no self-respect and dignity?! Me and my mom just muted it from cringing so much from her last comment.

Re: Dress beggars.

Well I guess I'm the only one who doesn't mind buying from such people. I don't go back home as often so I need resources here. SO if a lady has nice stuff I don't mind paying a little extra, getting what I need and help support their business.

Re: Dress beggars.

:omg:

Re: Dress beggars.

this entire concept is a farce..ladies want their friends to subsidize their pakistan trip.

next time I go to hawaii for vacation, I will sell hawaiian shirts on paklinks and you guys must buy them at double the price or i will not talk to you.

except TLK, because he will be happy if i stop talking to him :(

Re: Dress beggars.

brother you need more wives to make sure those abayas get used.

Re: Dress beggars.

I will be happy if you can gift me some Hawaiian shirts

Hallelujah

Re: Dress beggars.

LOL, I am like that. If I go over to an auntie's place and she is begging me to buy a dress of hers, i buy it..sometimes i DONT EVEN LIKE IT..lol, I cant say No sometimes..

Re: Dress beggars.

awesome topic

I have some acquaintances who set up showrooms in their homes for these things and make a profit off them.

Desis, I swear. Never miss an opportunity to make a cent.
