So recently I have been seeing anybody who goes to Pakistan or India will bring back some two three dozen dresses which they like to sell to their friends and acquaintances.
Some of them sellers think that we are from Mars and we do not know the real prices of the dresses they are selling so they keep their markup very high. Plus since they bring only a few dozen of those dresses there is not a wide choice or variety. Their color choice and design does not go with our taste.
My wife feels morally obligated to buy at least one dress to keep them happy and stay in the list of their friends. Plus if I die I want to have lot of people in my janaza and make dua for my maghfarat.
But now I am at a breaking point with these dress beggers.

How do I say no to them or better yet tell my wife to say no to those dress beggars and still stay in the list of their friends.

Why wud u or ur wife be friends with someone who is only your friend becoz you r buying their dresses. Its like paying for friendship.
I do undersatnd you feel little embarssed to say No to people who r friends with u but they should not break up ties coz u didnt wana buy a 200 dollars dress that u didnt even like.
