actually in quite many of tafaaseer about one of the things mentioned in that story of Yusuf :as: is mentioning of such things and as a conclusion it is said that it is not “Weh’m”… as one of the person told him :as: a wrong dream which he never saw and yet whatever Yousuf :as: predicted came true.
I am not saying, its a wah'im to have a dream ... I am saying it sounds more like a wah'im, that if you tell your bad dream to someone else, it will come true.
Dreams are what are inner concious is thinking about. What is gonna happen (or not happen) in future is in the hands of God, or as sometimes called, destiny.
How can we relate it to surah yousuf and the dream of Aziz-e-Mis’r which was about something that was supposed to happen in the future as well as the dreams of those in the jail with Yousuf:as:?
And what this dream of Hazrat Yousuf that every one is talking about....
I know it might be off the topic or something discussion that might not fit the religous forum... but i have one question....
Does anyone here ever had a dream, and it eventually full filled.....???
Faisal feel free to remove my post if it doesnt fit the religous forum?
I dont kno about prediction but i do know that there r islamic books which have dream interpretation and then there is istikhara.. which is askin Allah for guidance and ppl do practice isthikara.. and thats liek kind of a prediction for the future
Some dreams really are a sign of what might come, sometimes you dream as a warning, that you should change and sometimes it's really an indication of teh future.
And sometimes you're just dreaming, because you have to digest waht happened during the day or past days, or it could be shaytaan playing with your mind.
My MOm always forbids us to tell dreams at magrib time, I dont'know if this is superstition or not. But we never do tell dreams, especially bad ones at magrib time.
It also seems to depend on what time you dream, wether or not it's a predictive dream. And it also depends on the time of the dream what the meaning might be.
The most reliable dreams are the ones in the last time of the night I think.
-Is there anything in hadith, etc that indicates that things that come in dreams can be a prediction of the future?
Yes sometimes dreams can be a prediction of the future…butthat is in rare cases…
-Is it true that if you share a bad dream with someone else, it will come true?
nooooo…it’s not that , but Hazrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H) said key always predict the dream positively even if it’s negative …then it will have positive effects…
