What does it mean if you see someone who has passed away in your dreams over and over? I see my grandfather at times(may Allahh grant him Jannat)…and usually he is the only person that has passed away that I see in my dreams over and over again.What does it mean..My mother says that we need to do some Sadqaa and stuff on his name. Is that enough?

I think the meaning can vary .......... depending on : Did you know your grandfather? Or did your Grandfather pass on before you really knew him?

I did know my grandfather...he passed away like 7 years ago.
Its just that i see him in my dreams on and off and also I constantly have like restless dreams ...and its always my nani and nana's home one way or the other(thisis the place we grew up close)

Do sadaqa for him and read Quran for him (If possible do Khatam-e-Quran)
I used to see my grand father alot after he died. Everyone says that no one in my family resemble him more than me and no one was attached with him as much as I was attached with him.
Whenever I used to miss my namaz, I used to see him quiet and unhappy in the dream.
Whenever I used to be going well in terms of my worldly and religious affairs, he used to be very happy and excited in the dream.
Once after seeing him a number of times I realized that there was something he wanted me to continue (almost a year before he died, he gave me a book to read) Which I forgot to continue reading after he died.

Most likely, what it means is that you think of this person a lot in reality (when you are awake).
When I start to think of someone (i.e. whom I haven't met or seen in years) a lot every day, I also start seeing them in dreams.

Dreams do have relationship with real life. They do possess deeper meaning. When I am worried, my mother, who is thousands of miles aways, usually gets to know about it in her dreams.... before time!
