My ailing grandfather had a dream in which he saw me and my parents had gone for umrah in the month of Prophets birth month. Its obviously a good dream but does anyone know the meaning of this dream? Does it mean that I am going to go for Umrah or was it just a good dream or what? please someone tell.

Going to Umrah or Hajj is usually the case when one sees the Kabah themselves in the dream.

Dreams are nearly never literal premonitions of future events ... mostly they are symbolic and mostly you can only tell their meaning when something happens as a result ...
The month Rabi-ul-Awal = month of change, good news, arrivals, finanical increase
Safar (this month) = about recovery
Umrah = can be lots of things, but mainly about reaching the height of an illness, or increase in wealth for merchants
Seeing others makes it even more obscure ... so I guess you'll just have to wait and see ...

When you say that about this month…can you plese explain if Allah just provides people with all the good stuff because its the month of Prophet Mohammad 
or do people have to do stuff like how we do in Ramadan to earn as many good deeds in that month in order to get all the benefits promised to us by Allah? Or does Allah just give all the things you mentioned to his people for the sake of Huzoor ?

Dream interpretation can be different for different people, try asking some scholar who knows your grandfather,s religious/family back ground.
It inshallah is a good dream nonetheless.May ALLAH take you to the HOLY lands with maqbooliayat.
