Dread!

I dread to see what the next 2 days will be like in Pakistan - there could b complete peace or apathy or worse still there could be all sorts of violence - could be intra-ethnic, intra-political, attacks by militants?

The worst would be intra-political rivalry and intra-ethnic violence. Within a few hours people will start voting and who knows what it will b like aftr 2 days! Isuppose we can only pray for the right decision to be made and justice b served.

Re: Dread!

Pakistan is at crossroads and people have suffered too much in the last 12 months. Lets hope and pray that tomorrow brings hope and rekindles our national spirit. Here is to a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan. :jhanda:

Re: Dread!

May Allah swt make next few weeks easy on Pakistan. May Allah swt help the nation get on right path, anti-Pakistan elements be destroyed, whoever seeks ills for Pakistan be destroyed (without affecting Pakistan and its people), aameen.

Re: Dread!

part 1 has gone relatively smoothly! insha allh the next few days will be smooth too. i do feel confident that a good decision will be reached. i know many people here hate pml-q bt they have done a lot for the counry as compared to others. whoever wins has to work hard to get the vote. my dread is zardari becoming a PM - if thats what democracy is about then no thanks! i do get the feeling zardari would rather work with pml-q and mushy than pml-n.

part 1 over and fairly smoothly - not gone as bad as it could have done. lts hope the results satisfy everyone

Re: Dread!

Let us hope and pray for the best. :)
