I am not looking forward to Iqra's newest drama. Domestic violence is already a taboo topic and not taken seriously and her role will not help. Urgh.
I think you’re referring to the drama ‘Jhooti’. I’ve seen the promos and the story seems problematic at a time when domestic violence has become so commonplace. Why are the younger generation of actors choosing such backward projects?

Yup that’s the one. It’s odd since she declined an ad for whitening cream but neither she or her husband could see how this role won’t do women a favour who have to deal with various aspects of domestic violence on a frequent basis while society looks the other way. Will have to wait and see what it’s all about.

Jhooti is a terrible drama, it gets worse with each episode, but I’ll still watch it. facepalm
Raaz-e-ulfat is okay so far, altho I watch it mostly because of Shahzad Sheikh

I had the same issue with Ghalati episodes, so now I watch the drama on dailymotion.
Have started watching the drama serial Bikhrey Moti. Such an intense drama. It's very hard to watch certain scenes. Great acting by the child stars; very realistic. Makes it even harder to watch.
The daadi and the father are such despicable creatures.
