i was flipping through the channels during the past few days and came across a couple of dramas…dhaara and dooriyaan…both have sadia imam and humayoun saeed…this was the first time i was watching these dramas, and to me, both had almost the same story line…sadia imam married/has a son with a man..leaves him…son is sick, and humayoun saeed is her new hubby…or is just me? or is there no originality and good story line in dramas these days?? every second wife is leaving their hubby (or vice versa)…the last good drama i saw was mehndi…im still waiting for the next blockbuster…
what do u guys think? and if anyone could tell me names and time and a summary of dramas that are on geo and ary that woudl be great (i just got the dish, and i have no idea what comes on…)…and toronto timings please…
yeah both Dhaara and Dooriyan suck.
Watch Kaisay Kahoon - on air Sundays at 7 pm ET (which I think is TO time too).
[yes I’ve been hired as a marketing agent for this play :halo: ] Truthfully that is the only “Pakistani” drama that is worth watching these days which shows normal people. i.e. if someone is sick, they are not wearing fake eyelashes and a banarsi sari with lots of jewelry twitching their eyebrows in all directions. The characters in Kaisay Kahoon are actually “human” which has become a rare feat in today’s Paki plays
well yeah your right now a days dramas dnt have no storyline n there more like indian dramas... well there are few good dramas on such as..

well i think these are the onli gud ones on right now ..buh there are few i might as well jus tell u tere pehloo mein at 8 30 mon to thur on geo n sun leyna at 9 30 from mon to thur n last one is ranjish hi sahi mon to thur at 9-- which is really FAKE n i meen dat by acting, actors n storyline
yeah i know what ur talking about..i was watching a bit of that on the weekend....they are going around town eating ice cream and stuff..i didnt know it was a drama at first..i thought it was something on the lines of "a day in the life of...".....but again, what is the story lines of these dramas?
You know dhaara is a good drama but dooriyan is boring..and i think its ending soon

yeah..they just showed the last episode a couple of days back. the first 20 mins was all recap, in which i understood the whole drama …and well i don’t wanna ruin it for those who haven’t seen it, but ..she gets divorce papers from both her husbands..and has to decide which one she wants to stay with! haha..sometimes these dramas are a little messed up
