why does it seem like drama follows us brown folk wherever we go?
even the most ardent avoiders get sucked in one way or another
do you think everybody loves drama or do we just feel it b/c this is the culture we happen to be involved in?
i don’t know…i was born in raised in the good ol us…and i can honestly say that aside from my very close girlfriends that i grew up with…i don’t really care for a lot of the desi ppl i’ve met in college…WAY too much drama…where as with my white friends, sure there are some moments of drama, but not every freakin minute…and they are just sooo much more chill
i don’t mean this as an insult to desis, don’t freak out on me
i’m just saying that it has been my experience that with my goray friends things are lot more chill and easygoing whereas most of the desi’s that i meet now that are my age you just wanna smack upside the head
