there were few dramas about aids, telecasted in past at ptv ...
one of them was "Kal" featured vaneeza who was raped before she got married to jamal shah... no... she was not hiv+, but it was extra story in the same serial
One more serial was telecasted at AAJ, having the topic of internet cafe scenario... uff.. disgusting
there were few more....

i think bushra ansari's "kuch dil ne kaha" was pretty bold as the story dealt with two already married adults with children in late teens and early 20s having affairs and then coming clean. splitting up. moving on with their lives. very very realistic and appropriately handled though.

Kuch Dil Ne Kaha has to be one of the most bold dramas to date. The way maria wasti's character has an affair with javed sheikh behind her cousin's back...harsh. I found it really unfair when bushra's character never had an affair, she was careful not to let things go far, and yet it was considered equal to having a affair like maria and javed's characters did.

^yup it was actually very sad that her kids didnot believe her (forget the mian he didnot like her anyway) and just turned out as so called "ghairat waley"...aisa hota hai society main.

i thought lahasil and man-o-salwa had rather interesting themes and pushed the envelope a bit when it comes to exploring new ideas and concepts for television plays

Yep that was a good play and also handled with very deftly! Loved Bushra's acting in it.

Bol Meri Machli is pretty bold. It dealt with pregnancy, abortion before marriage.
