i'm currently watching the 4th episode on the VCD. Aysha Khan is sooo hot really she is. After last year's Muqaam(IMO the best drama with modern and rich touch) this her best work, yet.
But waching dramas on VCDs and videotape is such a please dont try to disguise curse words like that-PCG . You feel like watching the whole thing in one go. That's y i prefer watching'em on tv episode by episode. I hope prime airs it 'cuz this drama has been given some rich production and glamrous touch.
I would rather watch it on video than wait for it every week. I heard 5 sisters get married the same day, hence the hustle and bustle in Javaad's video. Cousin were telling it only has about 2-3 more episodes to go and then we should have it out on video here :)
The drama is pretty good, storyline, acting but moreover the money put into the sets is heavily visible.
I dunno why it's running on PTV with one of the girls becoming 'notoriously' pregnant and then having an abortion. A bit too much to watch with the family. The censor board is on vacation i guess.
I felt as if modeling was emphasized a bit more than the acting part of the drama.
PS. 4 sisters -- Abid Ali's daughters.
amina haq -- aijaz aslam
the muqaam lady -- humayoun saeed
new girl -- aijaaz aslam
new girl from toothpaste ad -- kamran jelani

I had the same feelings during a few particular episodes in Behlawa. The girl Sara Chuhdary getting pregnant and being black mailed that her porn videos would be on the net was a bit too much. But the problem was they were so forth comming with that. Either just freaking say that directly that she spend a night with that "Agha" guy and is pregnant and he has her videos but no, those indirect discussions had to be carried on.

Its ok yaar. Its good to see the drama industry moving into the right step. There's a difference between being vulgar and presenting something nicely. And I believe that the seldom drama which has taken up a conterverisal issue such as this have done a good job with it without being too vulgar. The truth is, this kind of stuff happens in Pakistan.
^^Oh so that's why there was one or two missing episodes of drama Behlawa when I watched it. I was so pissed cuz I cudn't tell what happened in it. Was there really a kissing scene? I didn't see the episode when that girl did it w/. Agha and couldn't tell why she committed suicide.....Can someone tell me in detail??
That was a goooood drama!
But since I am in the thread of Mehndi drama I would say that is one of the best dramas, that I have seen nowadays. I like everything about it, clothes, acting, actors, glamour, and the whole wedding ceremony. It was so cool how the grooms came in a decorated buggy..... amazin!!!
I guess that's probably a trend among rich people in Pakistan??
I wasn’t too impressed with the drama. Although it had some good actors in it, but it wasn’t all that good. It had a filmi touch to it. Humayun Saeed having Cancer, then a sister not being able to reproduce, then finding out that another sister was adopted, and all the problems being solved in the last episode and much more. All of this usually goes on in movies or when they’re out of ideas.
The two dramas that I absolutely loved are ‘Singhar’ and ‘Shayad Kay Bahaar Aye’. They were superb and definitely a must watch. :k: :k: :k:
^ Finally, someone who saw the same drama as I did. The music was overdone, it was predictable and quite boring. I fastforwarded the whole drama and was still on top of the story. And what the hell is up with that five-minute intro? This drama, with all its blackmail, cancer and the such, didn't stir up any emotion in me. I saw Anarkali after this one, and that one almost broke my heart, and it didn't even have anybody dieing. That was a classic PTV drama, oh where have those gone.
