Have only seen the first three episodes on dramasonline and must say it is one solid and tightly knit script. It is true that while we have appalling human rights violations against women in our society, which in turn have been depicted time and again in our dramas, there are numerous families that practice reverse discrimination by treating their daughters like royalty and succumbing to their every whim. I have seen the consequences of such attitudes first hand where after marriage such girls fail to adjust to their new circumstances resulting in a. insecure husbands not able to provide similar material comforts b. greedy son in laws leeching off of their in laws for the rest of their lives.
I’m not sure how the story eventually shapes up but everyone seems to be playing their parts really well except for the younger sister Komal who is the weak link in an otherwise well written and strongly executed story. A very refreshing concept without in-your-face melodrama. Anyone else following?
