Interesting - I really respect Dr. Zakir…but never thought of it this way - I wonder 
Islam really is above boundaries and borders - I really really wonder - If you ask many muslims form India - they today don’t believe they have equal rights in India - so I wonder why Dr. Zakir thinks this way -
Many hyderabadi muslims and others from poorer areas think that they are better off living in the west than India…
Even some of the distant family I have that is from Aligarh and all they don’t want to live in India…
But where he seems to be making a point is that ***“if” ***the division had not taken place, then muslims in the subcontinent would have been a larger body and hence would have more power , pull and maybe authority. But a believer can’t look at what could have happened - I am sure Dr. Zakir knows that better than me…
