Okay so we’ve all been watching the WC, Pakistan are playing below average, well I have to disagree and I’ve got pictures to prove it!
They’re playing average!..and above average in one respect

I also did some multiphase Monte Carlo simulations on hope biased data and came out with a definate win for Pakistan against India on Saturday. The data suggest India will be bowled out for 0 and Inzi will be brought in to head up the batting…brave move.
Could you please tell us the standard deviation, as that may access Pakistan’s chances on the weakness.
Also pretaining towards the game, could you please indicate Pakistan’s high and low ends in each inning when batting. (I think you can use the stem and leaf plot on this one to find the variance’s).
And like the others said.. Welcome to the Real Home of Gupshup
Seen as some of you recognised my genius at stating the obvious via graphical images I'll continue.
Now there's been alot of talk about batting first and winning, it's not a WC that has seen any great chases of the 29 games played so far, so lets see what the data tells us;
[thumb=A]batting_order1.JPG[/thumb]
As we can see out of the 29 games played so far, the team batting first has won 20 times and only 9 chases have been successful. However there is more. Something that I've coined as the Minnow Factor MF
Out of the 9 teams who had successful chases 7 of these chases were against minnows (Kenya, Bangladesh (3), Holland, Canada (2)). It appears a team may bat second or first against the minnows and come out on top at will, depending on weather the winning team wants a quick victory or some cricket practice;
The graph below is a more realistic representation of the batting order state of affairs with the MF disscounted for;

So it appears as many of you pointed out, winning the toss is the only skill left in the game.
(NB: Australia is the only team to chase successfully against non-minnow teams, twice so far in this WC)
LOL :) Yes me and my stats were busted my Indian friends, but at the end of the day, Tendulka's a little short arse no matter how many 6's he knocks off our fine tall upstanding worldclass pace bowlers.
God bless Pakistan and all the zanjeeriyah that hang around our bowlers necks.
