Dr. Samar’s intellectual dishonesty ruins Thar Coal Project: Dr. Qadir… Islamabad: Founder of Pakistan’s nuclear program Dr. Abdul Qadir Khan says Thar Coal Project has been ruined by ‘intellectual dishonesty’ of Dr. Samar Mubarakmand.“Dr. Samar has nothing to do with mineral sciences as he is a Ph.D in High Voltage,” he criticized.“Recodec Project in Balochistan and Thar Coal Project in Sindh both are put on stake due to him.”Dr. Samar, considered also a national hero for its contribution towards Pakistan’s missile system, is working actively for producing electricity from Thar Coal.Dr. Qadir views public-private partnership the only solution for the power crisis in the country.“Besides technical expertise, investment of billions is required to utilize underground mineral resources.”He put emphasis on devising comprehensive policies that encourage foreign investors could invest in the country.
Dr. A Q Khan cannot help but take a cheap shot at all the other scientists as usual.
On the top of that his personal bias against the other scientists and his tendency to always portray himself as the sole reason of our technological advancement is now becoming freaking annoying.
but why theyr doing it publically alll are fighting atleast they should show some courage,n decency in terms of being a important figure of Pakistan,why can't they come together for the betterment of the country!
Dr. Qadeer Khan is playing cheap shots here, yes he was father of Nuclear Bomb of Pakistan but now the son have grown and there are others as well who did phenomenal work in this sector they have to respected and least to say, Dr. Samr is atleast not involved in you know what and is actually doing more beneficial work then the former...
I remember Dr Samar felt very let down when AQ khan was given all the credit for nuclear blasts. Whereas in the later years it WAS a team work.
This is a rather below the belt shot by AQ khan. Rather than criticizing, he should give advices on improvement of it. Add do the his dodgy past in terms of nuclear proliferation, AQ khan's credibility is somewhat damaged.
If a Pakistani is trying to develop something the government should provide the resources to him to do that, as there are reports that some mafias within the government machinery want the project to fail.

Afat that was Mauripur Road I think, because the old terminal was near Mauripur not Drig Road. Anyway its one of the dark chapters which are taboo for discussion considering the involvement of holy cows.
While writing these words I was thinking about that incident but i don’t wannt go in details about AQ or Samar Mubarak Bcoz both ve done something good for Pakistan

What has hoodbhoy done that can compare to Atta ur Rehman? The whole higher education system and its syncing with the international european, US system (the Ph. D programs) is the brainchild of Atta ur Rehman. Hoodbhoy himself is a professor, but I put him more in category of AQ Khan where the fame & arrogance starts to temper the personality of the person.

Not that I am a huge fan of him (khissak giya hai AQ Khan with all the fame), but you have to admit that the whole uranium enrichment process was the pet project of AQ Khan. Samar was part of the atomic commission, which was working on plutonium based bombs which Pakistan has moved towards now. But chagai was a uranium enriched device.
