I will call this inappropriate. National shame it would have been if he had used physical force or berated or cursed an athlete during the parade/in public. Also as I said I am sure he wouldn’t have to wrestle an athlete to get the flag given that he is a minister and the head of the mission. In our culture a subordinate can’t really refuse his boss’s orders. The news reports must have been embellished a bit.

have you seen the news footage yourself? when the real person who was supposed to hold the flag (that is Shujauddin) tried to come to front and take the flag from dr sahab, he stopped him with hand, and did not let him come to front and lead the march.
