Doyi !!

I cant freaking find the right Doyi for use in my large pots !

I have looking since ages now … I dont like using the ones that are flat and have holes in them … coz its unhygienic , the holes never get properly cleaned …

I dont like using the thin oval shaped ones , coz they make stirring hell of a job !

I love the round , shallow ( not too deep ) ones , but cant freaking find them here in the UK .. ..

what other options are there I need to find a new doyi pretty quick

Hmmm ask someone from Pakistan to buy and send you the right doyi.

You can find all sorts of kitchen items in borhi bazar you will get the right doyi from there !

my mum is like a doyi collector. we have a lot of plastic ones from ikea for non stick pans as her woks and stuff are all non stick now.

she also likes the giant round wooden spork ones from pakistan but she's giving her fav one to my dad to have copied when he goes there because she said the other replacements have all been with inferior wood.

I was wondering what on earth u were talking about. Hehe...

Try the pak store maybe? Though it shouldnt be so hard to find one....usually that kinda shape is one of the spoons in a cooking spoon set. No?

Doyi can be more lethal then Belan… it is underestimated weapon i have seen the art-work by Doyi on my friends back…

Anyway things to be considered while buying a Doyi is as follows

Never buy a Doyi which seems like perfectly varnished/polished
Like you said say no to Doyi with holes
Always make sure that that the Doyi is made of quality wood
never send your husband to buy Doyi…

it's a large stirring spoon...

try ikea,Debenhams,John Lewis
southall have some good shops,
wembley,
leicester do some good ones at Milan
and I,m sure Bradford has some good shops....

Yeah its the stir spoon , I love calling it doyi , my mom always calls it doyi

Khawa … the one’s we get here are no good .. they start splintering within days and i dont like that bit at all :no:
