No she doesn’t. Don’t mean to derail the thread or change its topic but I have not come across a single hadith which says that the bride or her parents have to do such a thing for the relatives of the groom and vice versa. Jiss maaN baap ne apne dil ka tukra de diya, wo aur kya deiN. Such things would not even occur if both parties knew and followed Islam where the wedding can be in a simple manner without all these* mandatory* rasm-o-riwaaj
